What a 203k Consultant Does
An FHA 203k loan lets a buyer or homeowner finance the purchase of a property and the cost of renovating it in a single mortgage. On a Standard 203k, HUD requires a certified consultant. That is the role we fill.
The consultant is the independent party between you, your lender, and your contractor. We document the scope of work, cost it out, inspect the work as it is completed, and authorize each release of funds.
